2nd marriage Blanche St-Jean Married 31 Jan 1943 Notre Dame de Lourdes, Timmins, ON (married 11 years) to: Hubert Bossé Born 7 Aug 1915 StJacques NB, died Aug 1954 Dryden ON, age 38 or 39 years, buried Sudbury, ON. Canada Hubert married the widow of Guillaume (Pit) Ouellette. In 1949, he left Timmins and came to Sudbury to work in the Nickel Mines. Blanche and her daughters followed shortly afterwards and they settled on Kathleen Street in the Flour Mill. Despite Hubert's objections, Blanche worked as a waitress. In 1951 Hubert disappeared and the family knew nothing of his whereabouts until his accidental death in 1954. The family learned then that he had changed his name to Paul Côté and worked in lumber camps in the Dryden area. He was killed in Dryden by a falling tree in august of 1954. The only way the family found out about his death was that one of Blanche's brothers worked with him. |
